This week we finished our Mouse’s First Day of School unit with a very special activity: a hands-on board game played in pairs or small groups.
Mouse had one important mission: to get to school. To help him, each pair or group had to move along the board and complete different challenges connected with the vocabulary we have been learning during the last few weeks.

Esta semana rematamos a unidade de Mouse’s First Day of School cun xogo de taboleiro manipulativo para chegar á escola superando probas de vocabulario.
Through these activities, we revised words such as car, drum, doll, blocks, puzzles, book, crayon and paint, while practising listening comprehension, movement, play and oral production adapted to each age group.
Playing in pairs and small groups also helped us to take turns, make simple decisions, help each other and learn together.
Estas propostas reforzan vocabulario en inglés mediante comprensión oral, movemento, xogo e produción oral, favorecendo tamén a cooperación e a aprendizaxe compartida.
And there was one final shared mission: helping Mouse reach school.
A fun way to finish the unit and see how much we have learned… almost without noticing!
