This week, we were very busy organizing our blue exhibition. Take a look at this video. We’ve had  great fun!!!!

Further, we read the Eric Carle’s book called “The artist who painted a blue horse”. Looking inside, children discovered a child who paints a number of animals with unconventional colours and he declares “I am an artist…..”

Ademais, limos o libro de Eric Carle titulado “O artista que pintou un cabalo azul”. Ollando no seu interior, os rapaces descubriron a un rapaz que pinta animais con cores pouco convencionais e que afirma ser un artista.

“Have you ever seen  a red crocodile, an orange elephant, a purple fox or a wonderful polka-dotted?” -I asked

“No”- the children answered surprised.

But they really liked them, so we decided to be artists too.

Vístedes algunha vez un cocodrilo vermello, un elefante laranxa, un raposo lila ou un burro con puntiñños de cores? -pregunteilles

Non-reposteron os cativos asombrados.

Pero gustáronnos tanto que decidimos convertirnos tamén en artistas.

If you don’t know the name  Eric Carle, I’m sure you know his work.He’s the author and illustrator of more than 70 children’s books, including The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

Se non sabedes quen é Eric Carle, estou segura de que coñecedes a súa obra. Eric Carle é o autor e ilustrador de máis de 70 libros infantís  como:

New Eric Carle’s book, The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, is an homage to the Expressionist painter Franz Marc.The child in the book paints a number of animals with unconventional colors and he declares “I am an artist…..” As the child, Eric Carle paints the world as he sees it- a red crocodile, an orange elephant, a purple fox or a wonderful polka-dotted

This is a book that celebrates imagination and the artist within us all.

O novo libro de Eric Carle, “O artista que pintou un cabalo azul”, é unha homenaxe ao pintor  Franz Marc. O rapaz do conto pinta varios animais con cores nada convencionais e declara…”Son un artista…” Coma o neno, Eric Carle pinta o mundo tal é como o ve- un crocodilo vermello, un elefante laranxa, un zorro violeta e un marabilloso burro con manchas de moitas cores.

Este un conto para celebrar a imaxinación e para descubrir ao artista que cada un ten dentro.

My 3-years-old became artists thanks to this incredible story. They spent a great time listening the story and drawing their blue horse. Now, each time we read the story, they declare…
“I am an artist”
