3º ciclo, Halloween.

Halloween chefs

This year, students in level 5  celebrated Halloween in a different way: they became Halloween chefs!!!!

So, they  were organized in groups of 3 or 4 based on the skill level of the students in order to make a Halloween pizza. First, they searched for images of Halloween pizzas on the internet and they chose the one they liked most for their recipes. Then, they decided what ingredients they are going to need and they wrote the recipes. Finally, they made the pizzas and the staff of  our school canteen baked them into the oven following their instructions. They were spook-tacular!!!!

Finalmente, as prepararon e o persoal de cociña quentóunolas. Estaban de morte!!!!!

Working in small-groups learning in a collaborative enviroment has many benefits:

-Cooperative learning is fun, so students enjoy it and are more motivated.

-Cooperative learning is interactive, so students are engaged, active participants in the learninng.

-Cooperative learning allows discussion and critical thinking, so students learn more and remember what they’ve learned for a longer period of time.

-Cooperative learning requires students to learn to work together, which is an important skill for their future.

I´m sure, we’ll work in this way soon.
