Learning English Is Fun!
In 3rd and 4th Grade, we practised English through games, music and movement.
Because learning English is not just about learning words. It’s also about listening, asking questions, answering and speaking with others!
🏀 4th Grade: Guess Who I Am?
We played «Guess Who I Am?» in pairs to practise questions and answers about sports, using PLAY, GO and DO.
💬 Do you play basketball?
🏊 Do you go swimming?
🥋 Do you do karate?
✅ Yes, I do! / No, I don’t!
A fun way to practise speaking and listening, ask questions and communicate in English!
🎶 3rd Grade: Move and Speak!
We combined music, movement and speaking in a fun activity!
🎵 While the music played, we moved around the classroom. When the music stopped, we found a partner and asked questions about daily routines and transport.
⏰ What time do you get up?
🥣 What time do you have breakfast?
🚌 How do you go to school?
🚶 I walk to school. / I go to school by bus.
When the music started again, we changed partners and continued speaking English!

These games helped us practise vocabulary, listening and speaking, while encouraging confidence, teamwork, participation and taking turns.
