Our Fun Learning Stations Day with “The Mitten”

In our last session of the unit “The Mitten”, we had a very special and fun day. The goal of the session was to review and practice everything we learned during the unit using learning stations.

Learning stations are different activity areas around the classroom. Children move from one station to another and complete different tasks. This way of learning helps children become more independent, work together, and stay motivated. It also makes learning more active and enjoyable.

This method helps develop language skills, listening and speaking abilities, and it also strengthens mathematical thinking, sequencing, and problem-solving skills.

During the activities, the children worked on teamwork, communication, independence, and respect for others. They also improved their fine motor skills through hands-on tasks.

We had a great time! The children were excited, worked very well in teams, and showed how much they had learned about the story.

To finish the unit, everyone went home proudly wearing their “The Mitten” crown, our final project. We are very proud of their hard work!

Marcharon a casa orgullosos coa súa coroa de “The Mitten”, resultado do seu esforzo.

Below, you will find pictures of our different learning stations. These images help you see what each activity was about and how the children worked in every station.
