In this new mission, students had to guide Fawkes through the Chamber of Secrets so that he could deliver the sword to Harry. Thus, for each level passed, some magical lamps lighted up to mark the way.
This time, students in Level 3 completed a short fact file about a wild animal and wrote a short description in book format.
Before starting the mission, we did a preparation activity to help them to undestand what a fact file is and how to write it.
Then, they organized the task following four steps:
1st Level: Make notes about the animal, finding out information from books, internet, TV, family, teachers,…
2nd Level: Write the draft, using the information they had found out.
3rd Level: Prepare the animal book
4th Level: Make an oral presentation
