It’s raining! It’s pouring!

I love when young kids see their faces on a worksheet or art project……”How can it be posible? Is that me? It’s magic!!!!”

it has been raining hard for several weeks. That means a lot of rain jackets, boots and umbrellas around. It’s not always fun to stay inside in wet weather, especially for little ones. So, a rainy day collage is always a great idea to keep them busy and learn about the weather.

Before starting our Art Project, we had a fun time with this perfect song for a rainy, rainy day. We requested the rain to go away and to allow us to play.

RAINY ART PROJECT

What you’ll need:
– Colored paper, white cardboard
– Scissors or a punch(for the youngest)
– Glue
– A marker
– Blue paint
– Crayons

Que necesitamos:
– Cartulina branca A4 e papel de cores
– Tixeiras ou punzóns(para os máis cativos)
-Pegamento
– Rotulador
– Pintura azul
– Cores

Grab some white cardboards and print the resource. Grab some coloured paper and print the shapes for the boots and the body. Squares or rectangles make great shapes for the body .Then, glue them onto the cardboard and colour the umbrella. Grab a marker to join the paper pieces together(arms, legs) and finish the collage by stamping some rain with the fingers, leave to dry and you’re all done!

Colle as cartulinas brancas e imprime o recurso. Colorea o paraugas.
