This week, our 4th-grade students completed their final Hogwarts Mission of the school year! In this last adventure, the students became Magical Investigators at Hogwarts.
Their challenge was to help Hogwarts find one of these dangerous dark witches or wizards who had escaped from the Forbidden Tower.
To complete the mission, they created a Wanted Poster using English to describe:
- Physical appearance
- Clothes
- Abilities
- Feelings and emotions
The students used the vocabulary and structures learned throughout the school year to create imaginative and detailed posters while developing their writing skills in a meaningful context.
Esta semana, o alumnado de 4º de primaria completou a súa última Misión de Hogwarts, converténdose en Investigadores Máxicos para localizar magos e meigas escuras que escaparan da Torre Prohibida. Elaboraron un cartel de “Se busca” en inglés, describindo aspectos físicos, roupa, habilidades e emocións, utilizando vocabulario aprendido durante o curso.
Using AI-generated images, they created their own dark witches and wizards, designing unique magical characters with different appearances, clothes and personalities.
Crearon imaxes xeradas con intelixencia artificial para deseñar personaxes máxicos orixinais, que se convirtiron nos protagonistas da misión e inspiraron os seus traballos finais.
As part of the mission, we also created our own television programme, “Magical Breaking News”. Students became magical reporters and presented the latest news about the escaped dark witches and wizards. This activity gave them the opportunity to practise their speaking skills in English in a fun, creative and motivating way.
Como parte da misión, creamos o programa de televisión “Magical Breaking News”, onde os alumnos actuaron como reporteiros para informar sobre magos e meigas escuras fuxidos, permitindo practicar a expresión oral en inglés de xeito divertido.
This mission concludes our Hogwarts adventure. Over the year, students faced challenges, completed tasks, collected magical keys, and improved their English skills through games, creativity, and teamwork.
We are incredibly proud of their effort, imagination and enthusiasm.
With this final challenge completed, every student has earned the last Magic Key and successfully finished their journey through Hogwarts Missions!
