This week we are working with the story There’s a Shark in the Park! in our English lessons.
Esta semana estamos a traballar a historia There’s a Shark in the Park! nas clases de inglés.
To practise the vocabulary from the story, we have created two different Memory Games:
Para practicar o vocabulario do conto, creamos dous xogos de memoria diferentes:
- A digital Memory Game made with Genially
Pupils can play on the screen and match the cards while reviewing the words from the story.
- Un Memory Game dixital feito con Genially
O alumnado pode xogar na pantalla, descubrir as cartas e formar parellas mentres repasa as palabras da historia.
- A manipulative Memory Game
This version is designed to play with real cards in class. Children can touch, move, turn over and match the cards - Un Memory Game manipulativo
Esta versión está pensada para xogar con cartas físicas na aula. Os nenos e nenas poden tocar, mover, virar e emparellar as cartas.

The activity is especially useful for young learners because it combines language, movement and play.
Through these games, pupils practise English vocabulary in a fun and meaningful way. They also improve their attention, visual memory and observation skills.
A través destes xogos, o alumnado practica vocabulario en inglés dun xeito lúdico e significativo. Ademais, tamén traballa a atención, a memoria visual e a agudeza visual.
É unha actividade moi axeitada para Educación Infantil, xa que combina lingua, movemento e xogo.
