Mission 3 – Year 5

Esta terceira misión leva ao noso alumnado ao corazón da Biblioteca de Hogwarts, onde se agocha unha sala secreta chea de libros flotantes e críticas máxicas. Só os estudantes máis valentes poden entrar nela e converterse en verdadeiros Críticos Mágicos!

This third mission leads our students to the heart of the Hogwarts Library, where a secret room full of floating books and magical reviews awaits. Only the bravest students can enter and become true Magical Critics!

Activity Goal:

Desenvolver a expresión oral e escrita en inglés empregando adxectivos e estruturas en terceira persoa para expresar opinións sobre libros e películas.

To develop oral and written expression in English using adjectives and third-person structures to express opinions about books and films.

Activity Steps:

  1. Choose a character from the Hogwarts portrait gallery.
  2. Complete the Magic Scroll, collecting information about the character’s book and movie preferences.
  3. Write a draft, organizing ideas in an introduction, body, and conclusion.
  4. Create the Magic Critic’s Diary: a decorated and revised version of the character’s opinions.
  5. Present it orally to the class with enthusiasm, clear voice, and respectful listening.
  6. Reflect on the process using the self-assessment and the Scroll of Improvement.
  1. Elixir un personaxe da galería de retratos de Hogwarts.
  2. Encher o Pergamiño Mágico, recollendo información sobre os gustos literarios e cinematográficos do personaxe.
  3. Escribir o borrador do texto, organizando as ideas nunha introdución, desenvolvemento e conclusión.
  4. Crear o Diario do Crítico Mágico: unha versión decorada e revisada coas opinións do personaxe.
  5. Presentar oralmente diante da clase con entusiasmo, voz clara e respecto polas demais presentacións.
  6. Reflexionar sobre o proceso usando a autoavaliación e o Scroll of Improvement.

Use of AI:

Para dar vida aos nosos personaxes, utilizamos ferramentas de Intelixencia Artificial para xerar retratos personalizados dos críticos. Estas imaxes estimularon a creatividade do alumnado e fixeron a actividade máis envolvente.

We used Artificial Intelligence tools to generate customized portraits of the magical critics. These images sparked students’ creativity and made the activity even more engaging.

Final Product:

O alumnado creou un mural colaborativo máxico, no que se expuxeron os seus Diarios de Críticos con textos e ilustracións. Un auténtico escaparate das súas habilidades lingüísticas e imaxinación!

Students created a magical collaborative mural, displaying their Critic’s Diaries with texts and illustrations. A true showcase of their language skills and imagination!
