Last week, our classroom was filled with magic and learning with a gamified activity where our young English learners practiced furniture vocabulary and prepositions of place (in, on) in a fun and engaging way.
A semana pasada, a nosa aula encheuse de maxia e aprendizaxe cunha actividade gamificada na que os nosos pequenos aprendices de inglés practicaron o vocabulario do mobiliario e as preposicións de lugar (in, on) dunha maneira divertida e motivadora.
🎩✨The Magic Room: A Fun Learning Adventure!
Transformed into young wizards, students had to organize an enchanted room by placing “magic objects” (coloured balls) on the correct furniture while saying the magic words in English.
🔹 Phase 1: Teamwork
Using a magic die or challenge cards, students placed the balls on the furniture while saying phrases like:
✨ “The red ball is on the table!”
✨ “The blue ball is in the cupboard!”
Each correct answer allowed them to colour a magic star on their tracking card.
🔹 Phase 2: Individual Challenge
Then, each student created their own “Magic Room,” placing the balls and saying the sentences in English, showing their learning with confidence and enthusiasm.
🎩✨The Magic Room: Unha aventura de aprendizaxe divertida!
Convertidos en aprendices de mago, os alumnos tiveron que organizar unha sala encantada colocando “obxectos máxicos” (pelotas de cores) nos mobles correctos mentres dicían as palabras máxicas en inglés.
🔹 Fase 1: Traballo en equipo
A través dun dado máxico ou tarxetas con retos, os alumnos colocaban as pelotas nos mobles dicindo frases como:
✨ “The red ball is on the table!”
✨ “The blue ball is in the cupboard!”
Cada acerto permitíalles pintar unha estrela máxica na súa tarxeta de seguimento.
🔹 Fase 2: Desafío individual
Despois, cada alumno creou a súa propia “Magic Room”, colocando as pelotas e dicindo as frases en inglés, demostrando todo o que aprenderan con seguridade e entusiasmo.
