Welcome to Hogwarts: Mission 1 – The Entrance to the Chamber of Secrets!

This year, our 3rd-grade students started their magical journey at Hogwarts! They joined Harry, Hermione, and Ron on an exciting adventure inspired by Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Este ano, os alumnos de 3º de primaria comezaron a súa máxica aventura en Hogwarts! Uníronse a Harry, Hermione e Ron nunha emocionante misión inspirada en Harry Potter e a Pedra Filosofal.

The Story
Harry and his friends discovered that a powerful object, the Philosopher’s Stone, is hidden at Hogwarts. This stone can make someone immortal, and Lord Voldemort is trying to steal it! The trio decided to destroy the stone before Voldemort finds it.

Harry e os seus amigos descubriron que un obxecto moi poderoso, a Pedra Filosofal, está agochado en Hogwarts. Esta pedra pode facer inmortal a quen a posúa, e Lord Voldemort está a tentar roubala! O trío decidiu destruíla antes de que Voldemort a atope.

The Mission
To help Harry and his friends, our students needed to find the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets. They completed four levels to get clues:

Plan: Think about daily routines.
Draft: Write a short text about their routines.
Prepare: Prepare the writing and practice the presentation.
Present: Share their works with the class.

Para axudar a Harry e aos seus amigos, os alumnos tiveron que atopar a entrada á Cámara dos Segredos. Para iso, completaron catro niveis:

Planificar: Pensar nas súas rutinas diarias.
Borrador: Escribir un texto curto sobre a túa rutina.
Preparar: Preparar o traballo e practicar a presentación.
Presentar: Compartir o traballo cos compañeiros.

Benefits of Gamification
Activities like this make learning fun and exciting! Writing and speaking in English become easier and more enjoyable. Students practice teamwork, improve their creativity, and gain confidence.

Esta actividade fixo que aprender fose divertido e emocionante! Escribir e falar en inglés foi máis sinxelo e entretido. Os alumnos traballaron en equipo, melloraron a súa creatividade e gañaron confianza.

The Reward
After finding the entrance, students earned:
✨ A sticker for their Progress Journal.
✨ Six coins!

These coins, along with others earned throughout the trimester, could be exchanged for special rewards or achievement levels.

Despois de atopar a entrada, os alumnos recibiron:
✨ Un adhesivo para o seu libro de control.
✨ Seis moedas!

Estas moedas, xunto coas que gañaron polo traballo diario ao longo do trimestre, podían intercambialas por recompensas especiais ou niveis de logro.
