Take a Bingo Break

Students love playing Bingo. And me too!

Bingo is an incredibly flexible game and it is also great for involving everyone at the same time. It can be a great way to encourage language learning, create a positive learning enviroment, help to pay more attention and teach a variety of different skills including reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Bingo é un xogo incriblemente flexible que permite involucrar a toda a clase ao mesmo tempo. Entre os aspectos positivos do seu uso na clase de ESL, cabe salientar varios aspectos: fomenta a aprendizaxe da lingua, axuda a crear un ambiente de aprendizaxe positivo, axuda a manter a atención e permite traballar as catro destrezas lingüísticas básicas.

In this ocassion, it was adapted it to reinforce colours and numbers in Level 1 and 2, so I used pictures on the bingo cards instead of written vocabulary words.

Nesta ocasión, adaptámolo para reforzar o vocabulario traballado na sesión anterior: as cores e os número tanto en 1º como en 2º de Primaria, así que empregamos soamente imaxes en vez de grafía.
