Doña Pitu Piturra: English version

As you know, we are working in a scrapbook about Gloria Fuertes, a famous Spanish poet. Gloria Fuertes was born in Madrid, Spain on July 28, 1917.  She wrote poems, stories and songs for children.

So we decided that the best  way of keeping  working on our project Reciting Poetry is with a poem by Gloria Fuertes. This time we chose one of his best known poems titled Doña Pitu Piturra . Beside the fact that we recited  and illustrated it, this poem has helped us to practice how to describe a person physically.

Como sabedes este ano estamos traballando nun libro colaborativo sobre Gloria Fuertes, unha famosa poeta española que escribíu poemas, cancións e contos para nenos. Así que decidimos seguir co noso proxecto Reciting Poetry cun dos seus poemas. Nesta ocasión eleximos Doña Pitu Piturra que, ademáis de recitalo e ilustralo, nos servíu para traballar coa descripción físicas das persoas.
