It´s Easter time again! Do you want to celebrate it with us?

Easter is the most important festival in the Christian calendar. It celebrates the resurrection from the dead of Jesus, three days after he was executed.

Pascua é a celebración máis importante do calendario cristiano. Celebrámos a resureccción de Xesús, tres días despois da súa morte.

A resurrección do Fillo de Deus celébrase cada ano entre o 22 de marzo e o 25 de abril.

Children in the United States and Canada say the Easter bunny or rabbit brings eggs at Easter. In Germany and England, they say the hare brings them. The hare looks like a rabbit, but it’s larger, with longer ears and legs.

En Canadá e USA, os nenos din que un coello chamado Bunny trae os ovos de Pascua. En cambio, en Alemania e Inglaterra é unha lebre a encargada de traelos. A lebre parécese a un coello pero é máis grande, con orellas e patas máis longas.

An Easter Hunt is a common festive activity, where eggs are hidden outdoors (or indoors if in baad weather) for children to run around and find.

When the hunt is over, prizes may be given for the largest number of eggs collected, or for the largest or the smallest egg.
